Jeremy Arnold
Jeremy Arnold is a tap dancer, choreographer, educator, and scholar specializing in American vernacular dance. He currently serves on the faculty of Temple University and holds an MFA in Dance and Social Justice from the University of Texas at Austin.
Arnold is an alumnus of the Jacob’s Pillow Tap Program and was a principal dancer with Tapestry Dance Company from 2014–2017, performing throughout the United States and internationally. Prior to that, he toured nationally with Shelley Oliver Tap Dancers. From 2015–2020, he taught rhythm tap, jazz, composition, and music theory at the University of Texas at Austin while directing and choreographing major stage productions. He has also worked extensively with Charles O. Anderson’s Dance Theatre X, creating and performing works presented at the American Dance Festival, The Kennedy Center, and other leading venues.
His choreography has been commissioned by Tap Ties, Third Coast Rhythm Project, and Tapestry Dance Company. Arnold continues to teach and present work nationwide through dance festivals, conventions, and performance projects that celebrate rhythm, community, and cultural heritage.
