Music at the MAC
Michael Williams is a long time Chicago Musician and piano teacher. A graduate of Roosevelt University Chicago Music College, he has taught piano to children, adults and seniors for over 40 years. A patient and gentle teacher, Michael instructs in piano, reading music, and music theory for students artistic development and just plain fun. Having also worked at Carl Fischer music in downtown Chicago for 25 years, Michael is aware of music teaching materials from the past and present. In his spare time Michael enjoys reading, relaxing, and surfing the web. He is also an accomplished hand drummer on conga drums and has played for many dance companies and dance classes.

Juliani Ensemble
We are excited to announce that this Fall, the highly acclaimed Juliani Ensemble will offer FREE music lessons at the Mayfair Arts Center for ALL ages! The Juliani Ensemble was one of the participants in our 2022 NorthSide SouthSide OnceSide series, and we are honored they reached out to us about starting this fantastic program. A Little Background Information:
The Juliani Ensemble is a highly acclaimed chamber music ensemble that explores duos, trios, quartets, and quintets of mixed instruments and traditional string ensembles. They are composed primarily of members of the multi-generational Graef family and have delighted audiences with inventive, energetic chamber music concerts since 1999.
Forte Community Music Project
Forte Community Music Project, a local, black-led, community oriented, Chicago based, non-profit community music school, will be offering FREE and AFFORDABLE voice lessons at the Mayfair Arts Center for ALL ages! Forte Community Music Project was founded in 2017 to create a space where everyone could continue their music education, regardless of their past experience or financial ability.
