Concerts
The Chicago Human Rhythm Project inspires artists to put on dazzling performances for audiences throughout Chicago and around the world. From our internationally acclaimed festivals like Rhythm World and Stomping Grounds, and our own ensemble Stone Soup Rhythms, to educational performances for Chicago Public School students, CHRP is dedicated to putting on a great show.

RHYTHM WORLD is Chicago's international festival of American tap dance. This annual festival features master hoofers, tap dancers and ensembles in time (signature) bending concerts in venues throughout Chicago.

Global Rhythms Archive
Global Rhythms was the first concert series in the United States dedicated exclusively to tap and contemporary percussive arts companies.

On May 15th, join us between 1:00 -4:30pm for FREE classes and a collaborative performance by incredible groups including Black Girls Dance, the Meher Dance Company (Indian dance), Juliani Ensemble (chamber music), and the Collaborative Institute of Cultural Arts (CICA-Mexican folkloric dance)!
Enjoy 1 of 3, FREE introductory classes from 1-1:50pm or from 2-2:50pm. Classes will be taught by artists from Meher Dance Company, Juliani Ensemble, and CICA! Class sizes are limited, so pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
From 3:30-4:30, all four companies will share their rhythms and cultures.

Stomping Grounds
STOMPING GROUNDS is a 10-week, City wide performance and education festival featuring Chicago's diverse, percussive dance companies in community cultural centers, elementary and high schools and Chicago’s finest performing arts venues like the Harris Theater, the Auditorium Theater and the Pritzker Pavilion. Stomping Grounds will return in the fall of 2023.
