Join Chicago Human Rhythm Project (CHRP) to celebrate the holiday spirit at the legendary Jazz Showcase with an all new Holiday Rhythms! Playing and tap dancing some classic seasonal favorites with our own Jumaane Taylor and Stone Soup Rhythms, the Eric Hochberg Trio featuring Tim Mulvenna, and Steve Million, famed jazz singer Dee Alexander and special guests on December 4th and 18th!
Traditional tunes like Little Drummer Boy and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen will never be the same and less well known arrangements like African Sleigh Ride and Zat You Santa Claus will bring new meaning to "the spirit."
See and hear this joyful holiday performance connecting us to the marriage of tap dance with live jazz music at the best jazz venue in the south loop with proceeds benefiting CHRP's Mayfair Arts Center, a new arts incubator-education space on Chicago's South Side.
