Brinae Ali Bradley
Alexandria “Brinae Ali” Bradley is an interdisciplinary artist, tap dancer, educator, and cultural leader from Flint, Michigan. Her work centers on the transformative power of the arts, combining performance, education, research, and community engagement.
Bradley currently serves as a lecturer at Johns Hopkins Peabody Conservatory and has held leadership roles with organizations including Tapology, Fourth Wall Arts Salon, and Sound and Movement, LLC. She is also a cultural ambassador and artist-in-residence with Next Level USA and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Her artistic achievements include receiving support from the National Dance Project, Chamber Music America’s New Jazz Works program, and the Ruby Artist Grant. She is the creator of the ongoing Baby Laurence Legacy Project, an archival and performance initiative preserving tap dance history.
Bradley’s performance credits include Broadway’s Shuffle Along, STOMP, and the television miniseries Lady in the Lake. An award-winning artist, educator, and advocate, she continues to advance tap dance through scholarship, performance, and community-centered artistic practice.
