About the event
This program showcases that visual and rhythmic cornucopia as the Ruth Page Civic Ballet shares the stage with fellow Ruth Page Center resident Hedwig Dances, a contemporary company known for bold, interdisciplinary collaborations. Chicago’s Deeply Rooted Dance Theater brings its trademark unity of modern, classical, American, and African American traditions, and tap dance artist and Chicago Human Rhythm Project artistic director Jumaane Taylor also adds his spirited connection to arts and ancestry.
