| Melbourne International Tap Festival |
It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce the second annual Melbourne International Tap Festival, to be held this October 12-17 2006 in Melbourne, Australia.
Following the outstanding success of last year's landmark event, we are pleased to have already confirmed Jason Samuels Smith (US) and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards (US) as headline artists in 2006, and are in the process now of securing a number of leading local artists to complete an impressive line-up.
In 2005, the Melbourne International Tap Festival was the first of its kind ever to be held in the Asia-Pacific region. Drawing inspiration from tap festivals all over the world, and with the outstanding support of the International Tap Association, the Melbourne International Tap Festival fulfilled its promise, making an historic impact on tap in our part of the world.

Piano Services, Inc. |
Carl
Radford says: "I enjoy tuning and repairing pianos. What sounds
to 'plink, plink, plink' to most people, is a complicated organization
of counting string vibrations to me. There's no greater thrill than
playing the piano after I'm done tuning it, and melting inside from
the beauty of the instrument and the results. It is a nice combination
of a technical and artistic profession." |
