Executive Director Fund
An Executive Director
for Organizational Growth and Stability At this pivotal moment in the life of Chicago Human Rhythm Project, one organizational priority stands out as central to our future – a new leader . . . or should we say, another leader – an Executive Director.
Ever since 1995 when CHRP’s co-founder, Kelly Michaels, passed away, Lane Alexander has led the organization with the incredible support of our constituency as well as help from great board members, volunteers and a very small, very dedicated staff. Kelly and Lane created a balance that CHRP never fully regained and the organization has reached a point where it cannot move forward without reasserting balanced organizational and artistic leadership. While hyper-tasking and increased productivity have become the norm in today’s cost-sensitive, technology-driven environment, there are still limits to what a single person can accomplish and CHRP needs your help today. We would be grateful if you would consider making a gift to support Lane and CHRP in reaching the next level of organizational/artistic development by supporting this effort to hire our first executive director in 16 years - a high caliber executive focusing on “running the business” - development, marketing, communications, human resources, and more. Please consider making a pledge to our Executive Director campaign today and receive some very special gifts and recognition listed below. Your gift will ensure that Chicago Human Rhythm Project can successfully manage all of the many exciting opportunities that we have before us and lay a foundation for twenty more years of rhythm making for a better community!
