RHYTHM WORLD is the oldest and most comprehensive festival of American tap and contemporary percussive arts in the world. RHYTHM WORLD features an extraordinary master faculty of 24 teachers and two weeks of performance, education and community outreach programs including free public performances at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, tap jams at the Chicago Cultural Center’s Claudia Cassidy Theater, student showcases, panel discussions and extraordinary faculty concerts at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.

The curriculum of this program willcover: oral and video histories; rudiments of tap including technique, timing, syncopated rhythms, and improvisational skills; and the development of each dancer's individual style and expressive ability.
Program includes 9 classes, 1 ticket to Thursday night's JUBA performance and a festival T-Shirt.

CHRP's annual Youth Tap Ensemble Conference (YTEC), now in its 9th year, is one of the most comprehensive programs available to tap ensembles. Students work with masters on technique and improvisation, meet with specialists regarding related disciplines, and share and learn choreography. The 2nd annual PrepTEC offers the same amazing opportunities for study to intermediate-level tappers. Only 5 individuals per ensemble can register per group. Registration fee includes a festival t-shirt.
