Each year the Chicago Human Rhythm Project offers scholarships to
deserving youth to study with the masters at our summer festival, Rhythm
World! This year, to celebrate our 20th Anniversary, CHRP will give
away $22,000 in scholarships to students from all over the world!
The
Leo Harris Tap Scholarships provide students with the opportunity to
take an infinite combination of residencies, courses, workshops and
masterclasses over the two-week festival, July 26-August 8. Winners immerse
themselves in up to 40 hours of intensive tap study with world-renowned
masters such as CHRP 2010 Artist in Residence Jason Samuels Smith,
Dianne "Lady Di" Walker, Sam Weber, and many more! Click here to see the current list of 2010 Rhythm World faculty.
