WENDY FITZGERALD brings a unique and diverse life experience to Chicago
Human Rhythm Project. She founded and directed Creative Connections, a
full service arts management firm specializing in innovative uses of technology
to improve arts organizations' overall effectiveness. Wendy was also a
founding principal of internationally-renowned online programs of two
major US non-profits: the National PTA and the American Medical Association.
She has earned an M.P.A in nonprofits-Arts Administration from Roosevelt
University, a C.C.P. certification from the Institute for Certification
of Computing Professionals, and is currently pursuing certification as
a Pilates Instructor to extend and enrich her lifelong study of dance,
music and other performing-visual arts. Wendy has played an active role
in the Chicago dance community for over 16 years. She is a professional
member of Chicago Dance Coalition, did management internships at Hubbard
Street Dance Chicago and Joseph Holmes Chicago Dance Theatre, and choreographed
and performed original works at Roosevelt University during her graduate
studies. Wendy has also been seen on-stage at Ruth Page Theatre, American
Dance Center, St. Athanasius, Northwestern University, University of Illinois
and other local venues, in productions produced by Tracy Von der Haar,
Charlene Campbell-Murray, Kathy and Jack Villari, Robert Wells, and other
Chicago artists. She serves on the Board of Cerqua/Rivera Art Experience,
was Assistant Producer of Dance For Life 1997, and served as organization
development consultant to Kaye Productions, Skokie, IL. |
