The Chicago Human Rhythm Project is a tap and rhythmic dance presenting company.  We are seeking 2-3 interns to help us during this busy and exciting time.  This position consists of intern driven projects under the supervision of the organizations Founder/Artistic Director.  While some basic office duties are required our interns are not expected to spend all of their time updating the database, copying or filing.  This position is best suited for someone with a career interest in managing or creating a performing arts organization.  The intern will receive a $1000 stipend.  The position may also qualify for school credit. 

Qualifications:
College Junior or Senior or Graduate student (Arts administration, arts management, communications or performing arts majors preferred)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and internet research
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong interest in dance
Ability to multi-task
Sense of humor

Internship periods:
January 22 to May 22, 2006 or June 1  - August 22
14 hours per week minimum for Spring, 20 for Summer
