On October 28, 2013, 250+ people gathered to honor Mayor Rahm Emanuel and support the mission of 
Chicago Human Rhythm Project. The annual Jubalee Gala is CHRP's largest annual fundraiser, and
this year it raised over $135,000 (and counting!). The evening's highlights included remarks by the
Mayor, performances by Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra's Principal Players, M.A.D.D. Rhythms
West: The BBF Crew @ Better Boys Foundation, Mexican Dance Ensemble Youth Ensemble, FootworKINGz,
CHRP Scholarship Alumni (Star Dixon, Nico Rubio, and Ian Berg), 2013 Jazz Artist of the Year Greg Spero,
and a video preview of Che Malambo, the featured artist at CHRP's 2013 Global Rhythms Concerts.

The 2014 Gala will also mark the 25th Anniversary of the Chicago Human Rhythm Project. The date
and Juba Award Honoree are currently being determined.
