People
 Cheryl JohnsonAnthony Peters and Cheryl Johnson are tap dance artists with national and international credits who are based in Seattle. They have performed off-broadway, on concert tours, for television, music videos, film and festivals. Their creations feature the art of tap dance with live music. They have been described by the Seattle Times as "...musicians of the body...." and by the Seattle P.I. as "...a delicious blend of artistic flavors that tickle the taste buds... Seattle's best blend of dance and music..." Johnson and Peters have created full length tap dance concerts including Secret Tap Dance, I Ain't So Tough, A Tap Dance Christmas Carol, Tap Dance Fugue, Johnson & Peters Off-Broadway, Tap Dance Concerto along with the original Seattle Festivals of Tap Dance and tap dance 'happenings'. In addition to freelance choreography and performing, they teach workshops throughout the Northwest and are guest artists on the faculty of the University of Washington Dance Department, the Vancouver Tap Dance Society and Seattle Childrens Theater. They have operated the Johnson & Peters Tap Dance Studio since 1997, teaching hundreds of tap dancers and mentoring up and coming performing artists. |
